Our healthcare clients include hospitals, suppliers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and clinical trials organizations. Because healthcare is such an important sector of our business we have formed a strategic alliance with two partner organizations to bring a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to meet the challenges facing our clients.

Communications becomes a science with our healthcare team. Led by an experienced microbiologist in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, RPPR Healthcare includes physician and nursing advisors, event specialists, healthcare writers and seasoned media experts focused on healthcare.

We provide a full range of services for hospital clients including strategic counsel, media relations, community and government relations, as well as crisis management.

In the pharmaceutical sector we have been involved with international medical conferences and seminars. We have helped launch new drugs, arranged media coverage on a broad range of medical issues, and provided media support for numerous medical specialists.

Our hospital work extends beyond the normal hospital practice to include strategic advice and public policy support for these critical institutions. In 1995 during a planned 30 percent reduction of acute care facilities on the Island of Montreal, we were instrumental in extending the mandate, operating budget and size of our client, the Lakeshore General Hospital. As a result of that process, the Lakeshore General Hospital became the first Ambulatory Care Centre to be constructed in the Province of Quebec, an expansion that tripled the hospital’s capacity.

Our work with the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation was equally successful. During restructuring of hospital services throughout Ontario, we were successful in ensuring our client emerged from the process in a stronger position, better equipped to meet the healthcare needs of its community, and with no loss of resources.

In both instances, an innovative strategy supported by fundamental grass roots execution, enabled our clients to meet their goals and achieve their highest objectives.
