Homeless’ heroine hailed humanitarian
TORONTO—A woman who devotes a significant part of her business along with her professional skills to helping the homeless, has been recognised by her peers with the 2009 Promotional Product Professionals of Canada’s Humanitarian Award.
Jody Steinhauer, Chief Vision Officer of The Bargains Group Ltd., received the award for her work with homeless people in Toronto and for helping charities in communities across Canada.

Human resources management used them to recruit policemen, motivate employees, build awareness and promote corporate values. Sales and marketing people used them to introduce a range of new products from Smart cars to BlackBerries –all with the same result.

Promotional product sales near $4 billion in Canada
MONTREAL—Sales of promotional products, corporate gifts, advertising specialties premiums and incentives continued to grow in 2008 despite the onset of the recession, a newly released study commissioned by Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) shows.
